    We’re learning about anorexia and my psychology teacher asked “Why don’t we classify people in poor countries such as countries in Africa as anorexic?” The answer being, that they don’t have a choice due to lack of food and poverty in those countries, so she says “Because they have big bellies *laughs*”

    How insensitive.

    Was actually starting to like her, not too sure now.

  • Who Isn't Racist?

    This was the serious question that was posed in psychology today when we we’re talking about someone being racist. The person who said this seriously believes that everyone is racist, before I go any further i’m going to establish what racism actually is:

    “hatred or intolerance of another race or other races”

    Now I know I can’t speak for everyone else, but I do know that I do not have hatred towards other races and I do not think one race is superior to another. Her argument? That whatever race you are you prefer that particular race. Firstly, this is not true for everyone, secondly in cases where that is true it doesn’t necessarily equal racism, as it doesn’t mean you think your race is superior, you just want to support people from your community.

    Now don’t get me wrong, we’ve all said the odd racist comment, even if just in jest, however I have to stress again that doesn’t mean that you are a racist.

    Not only do I think this viewpoint is ignorant and narrow minded, I hate the fact that she wouldn’t give up on the fact that everyone is racist, its like speak for yourself you don’t know what everyone else thinks. I hate when people paint everyone with the same brush its so annoying.

    On top of this everyone in my psychology class agreed with her, this is worrying because we live in such a educated, diverse society and from what I can grasp of what she was saying (there was a lot of shouting over each other) she didn’t even seem to know what racism is?!? What hope do people who live in secular, uneducated society’s have of grasping the idea of racism?? Not only that, think of the implications that that kind of thinking has, if everyones racist its therefore alright to be racist. Its just so frustrating AND another thing I hate which she did is “forget it Christina, you just don’t understand” No, I do understand I just don’t agree!!!

    Sorry for the rant I just get so worked up about stuff like this!!

    Hi, i am home early from school today coz no last period coz mr tewil is not in and i never done his hw, witwoo.

    i was like 5 mins late for ict this morning, another waste of a lesson, doign chapter 2 when i alredy done all of it and she keeps forgetting coz other ppl make up excuses so im redoing things and not progressing, javed and mustafa chatting about irelevant things again (whole lessons), and chatting about how ict people are sterotypically anti social weirdos who spend 24 7 on computer in the dark, i was laughing along just so none of them think i was one.

    break 2 was kl, thanks for the mega tasty sandwich leila.

    lemma lesson was ok.

    home just sitting here blogging, mega tired, im automatically tired when i arrive home from school, might have a 10 min turning 1 hour nap l8r.

    title came from florence and machines song as i was walkign home and its in my head.

  • today was ok but weird (weirder than most days), woke up early.. usual.. walked to bus stop, a whole line of all the buses for that bus was there so i ran for the 6 but it didnt stop.. embarassing.. so i dashed off to the 187.. went to school.

    went in reg.. sat in my usual.. looking over at leila afew times to get a response (yes i will include our awkward driftedness), no response.. last chance as bell rang.. said bye leila.. received a little wave..

    went to business.. only me bijal and saamia, max and daleep arrived late. it was ok. went over critical path analysis again.

    free lesson, went library, quite afew people in there, talked, socialised, laughed, made jokes, being the socialist i am.

    o yeah beth and natsha was walking ahead of me to chool and met up with sarah and i caught up and was forced to communicate with them, making it more awkward (coz sarah said it would be awkward me following them as the chat to reg)

    1st break: purposely sat next to leila to get more responses, tried speaking, getting limited replies, sat there.

    ict: waste of a lesson as usual, scott and mustafa asking loadsa random questions, as i sat there self learning from the book.

    2nd break: went bakrah (what i sed to charlotte when i saw her walking home), baught a bacon n letuce n tomaytoe sandwich which had mayo and butter so tasted sickly fatty.. walked back to school buying wine gums coz my bro ate the ones i bought from morrisons, arrived with xtina 5mins before reg, awkwardness with sarah and amy and beth as amy said hi to me and told me something about her socks but i didnt hear and ranodmly showed her my socks and got weird looks from them.

    reg2: sat down, xtina pushing me to ask lemma to do my reference, as most peoples are done, i asked (only coz jordan asked and i bursted it out after) said it will be done in due course. gave sarah another akward wave goodbye as i left for home, walked to bustop, saw miss elwahabi (ex maths teacher whos meant to be in a middle eastern country right now) sitting at bustop, i think she saw me but not sure, didnt speak to me, i rpetended i didnt see her, luckily my bus came quick and i got on it to avoid more awkwad situations, katia went on aswell, we dont speak.

    went off, walked home, arrived home, tired, napped for 2 hours, wake up, do lemma work (which failed coz idk how), ate 4 out of 5 fruits, orange, banana, kiwi, plum.. might have an apple after. now im here, reading leilas list of blogs, inspired to do my own. (which i am now)

    brother’s ready to go watch footy at his m8s house, dads out to pick mum back from work then give bro a lift. ill be doing nothing as usual.

  • Just kind out why my uncle broke up with his fiancé. Her and her famo was robbing everything he had and random things at the home such as pictures and the picture of him with prince harles at oxford. and used it for voodoo, my other uncle wer clearing the room and found random scary voodoo head (my cousin describing Japanese samurai lookin masks) scattered in secret places in the bedroom such as stuck under shelves. tHAT IS FKD U P!!!
